Our Morning Walk to the Park
We are very fortunate to live 2 blocks away from a great neighborhood park. Often times this summer, the heat has kept us at bay because the sunshine beats down on the playground area 95% of the day. This morning, we were able to enjoy the park, as temperatures were comfortable.

Maddie still loves to swing!
This is a sampling of what the surrounding streets look like behind our apartment. The streets are very wide, there is little traffic, and there are a beautiful amount of palm trees and old fashioned lamp posts lining the street. (The cross streets directly in front of our apartment are another story - very busy, very loud!) This street is one of our favorites, especially at dusk.
Maddie decided she wanted to walk the whole way home.
She focuses hard on the task at hand.
What a great way to start our day!
