Maddie's spring dance recital snapshots!

One of the big highlights of our year was watching Maddie grow as a budding ballerina and tap dancer!  She was involved in a local dance studio for 9 months, and with weekly practice, she cemented her love of dance and blossomed into a confident dancer.  Her Spring Recital was the capstone of the season, and it did not disappoint.

The day before the recital was the dress rehearsal which is when parent's are allowed to take as many pictures/videos as they wish.  So the majority of the pictures in this post are from that rehearsal, but it still gives a good glimpse on the cuteness of it all!

She clearly knew exactly where I was!

Nailed it!
They are supposed to be "cotton candy" for the circus theme of the recital. :)
Maddie asked me more than once, "Mommy, don't you just want to eat me??  I'm cotton candy!"

So sweet!!  Here they are practicing getting their flower after the finale.
This was after the recital.  Maddie got a rose from us and a carnation from her teacher.  She was VERY excited about the flowers!
I loved watching you grow this year, my little dancer!!
