Brant's 35th Birthday

We always manage to find fun ways to celebrate our main man, and with the absence of Disneyland annual passes this year, we were put to the task to "think outside the box."  Hang with me, here.  This was quite the adventure:  we went miniature golfing!!  I do think it was adventurous, seeing as it was late October and temperatures were in the upper nineties!

Kisses for the birthday boy!
This was the kids' first time golfing, so there was definitely a teachable moment...or so!
Still getting the hang of the swing!

Maddie scored the only hole-in-one!!
We concluded our fun day with pizza dinner, dessert (carrot cake, of course!), and watching Robin Hood (Brant's favorite Disney movie) -- all not-so-out-of-the-ordinary, which actually made them extra-special, because they are things our main man truly enjoys!

To properly cap-off Brant's birthday weekend, we went out for an amazing dinner with our dear friends, Micah and Hannah, at the Pomona Valley Mining Co.  It's a rustic, yet elegant hilltop restaurant, which provided the perfect scene for delicious food, great views, and excellent company!
I just love this man!

Nothing like a view of the 10 Freeway!

Unfortunately, our waiter was completely clueless on how to focus a camera and check the lighting.  Oh, well.
What a great celebration the weekend was!  Happy 35th Birthday, Brant!
