Creeping Along...

I wonder what you thought this post was going to be about. There are a number of different spins I could take with this title. But alas, I figure I should just talk about what the people want to hear! My sweet baby girl. :)

Maddie has been caught "creeping" around the carpet this week! In other words, she is now able to get around the room(s) by means other than rolling back and forth. She is so close to crawling, and has demonstrated that multiple times this week. Yesterday, I caught her up on her knees and her hands for approximately 5 seconds. We haven't seen her do that before. I hate making bets publicly on my blog, but I'm going to say it anyway. I bet she'll be starting to crawl by Valentine's Day. Just wait and see... :)

Because I haven't posted in a week, I feel it is necessary to at least give you more of an update than just the paragraph up above. Things have been "creeping along" for us as well, but all in good ways. We are just up to our normal activities; work, reading, walking the dog, playing with the baby, stuff like that. Brant has had this week off of school, which has allowed us more freedom to relax around here a bit more than usual. He is still keeping busy with work and reading for upcoming classes, but is very much appreciating the break from class! I am at work all this week, just like normal.

I promise to make my posts a bit more interesting, but there hasn't been much to post on lately! I will get some good pictures and fun stories going on around here so I have something to blog about. Until then...
