We woke up to a very cold (22 degrees), but very sunny morning. We got ourselves ready for the day and headed off to church. After church, we decided to walk across the street to Palmer Square and enjoy a quaint Sunday lunch at Chez Alice Gourmet Cafe and Bakery. It was simply delightful. We both enjoyed a chunky chicken salad sandwich and split a french pastry (yes, I took a picture of the pastry). :) It was amazing!
Maddie really enjoyed watching us eat the delicious food. We told her we would bring her back here when she could thoroughly enjoy herself.
After our lunch, we walked around the square to take a few pictures. Of course, my camera battery died, so we took the rest of these pictures on Brant's phone. The quality isn't perfect, but they are still pretty good.
Daddy and his little girl. The building in the background is the Nassau Inn. It looks amazing and I would love to stay there. But I don't think it is currently in the best interest of our pocketbook. :) Someday, maybe.
My little baby girl - she's the best!
Here we are standing in front of the Tiger in Palmer Square. If you didn't know, the mascot for the University is the Tiger.
Across the street from the Tiger, and Palmer Square, is the church we attend - Nassau Presbyterian Church. It was occupied by the British Troops during the Revolutionary War, and was the first Presbyterian church in Princeton. It is located on the edge of the main University campus. Pretty cool looking church building, huh?
And finally, some more cute pictures of Maddie having fun on our Sunday in Princeton!

Well, I hope I did a good job of wetting your appetite and creating an aching desire to come out to Princeton, NJ for a visit! We love visitors and we love you. Call us and let us know when we can expect you! :)
Jackie, today was definitely a good hair day. Your hairs look GOOD (not that it doesn't usually of course.....for some reason in really stood out to me in these pictures though)!
