This year, we viewed the Rose Parade from the offices of a friend of ours who works directly above the parade route on Colorado Blvd. Our entire small group came, along with Brant's cousin and family. It was a wonderful thing, because, although we weren't in the thick of the excitement on the ground, there was breakfast, bathrooms, chairs, and room for kids to run around. Perfect!

| Great view, huh? And not that far from where we live! |
We had flown home from Oregon the night before, and had waited to give presents to each other as a family until we returned to Pasadena. After the parade, we came home to give our kids their Christmas present from us...a new play kitchen! It was a fun day! :)

| A new kitchen!! How exciting!! A wonderful addition to their room, and it has enjoyed hours of fantastic imaginary play! |
