We left Ogden at 8:30am on Friday, August 28th. Don’t mind the dates on all of these entries – I’m using this blog as a way to record our trip and I need those little details. I’m typing these entries in the car right now, seeing as I haven’t been successful at getting them done each night when we reach our destinations. My hope is that I can type in the car and quickly cut and paste the entries to my blog so I can get a post in each day on our trip. I also hope to get pictures on here soon!
I’m excited to reach our destination tonight. We are staying with my Aunt Susan and Uncle Roger at their house in Littleton, Colorado. I am looking forward to a good night of relaxing and resting. Who knew that riding in a car for 8-12 hours/day could be so exhausting?! (I did, I just thought I’d say it anyway).
(Posted on Saturday): We had such a great time with the Bowles! We got in at 8:45pm, were served a delightful dinner/dessert, had a nice visit, went in the hot tub and relaxed. My cousins were there to visit with us as well, which was unexpected, but awesome. It was a great night!
