Feeding the ducks!

There is a beautiful park next to where we live - I like to think of it as Kampen's, "Central Park."  In the center of the park, a canal runs through that is quite large and very picturesque.  The best part for the kids - there are lots and lots of ducks!  On Sundays, everything shuts down - I mean, everything.  The grocery store is not even open.  We get to practice the Sabbath, which is an entirely unique opportunity for us, as in the States, we always have things going on and places to go on Sundays.  What better activity than to go feed the ducks on a day like this?  (Is that not practicing the Sabbath?  I mean, it is technically doing an activity - but it is a relaxed, family activity that has nothing to do with working.  I'd say it counts! :) )

Learning to enjoy the simpler, slower things in life.  An outstanding practice for all of us!
