Holland Pannenkoek Dinner

We experienced our first traditional Dutch dining experience last weekend - Dutch Pancakes, or Pannenkoeks.  They were outstanding, you'll just have to trust us.  The restaurant we ate at was cute and inviting, a little on the spendy side (still trying to wrap my mind around getting used to the idea of being charged for water), and the food was fantastic.
Maddie, thoroughly enjoying her expensive water.
Yes - there is a sippy cup filled with water next to Geoffrey.  However, he is the younger sibling, therefore, he has to do everything just like his big sister.  Hence, another child enjoying his expensive water.

Cute little place, and not too busy.

Check out my fancy pannenkoek!  It was amazing.  Tomatoes, pesto, mozzarella cheese, and olives.
Maddie and Geoffrey each had a pannenkoek with jelly on the inside.  Mmm.
Brant's fancy pannenkoek.  Bacon, apple strudel, gorgonzola cheese and sausage.  Super delicious, too!

It was a fun night out for the family!  If you come to visit us, we might just have to introduce you to the fine Dutch Pannenkoek. :)
