Okay, so maybe we didn't go directly into Ojai. But, we did make a return trip to the Lake Casitas Water Park, which is just 6 miles outside of Ojai. (Besides the post title sounds much more catchy that way).
This was our third visit to the park, and it did not disappoint. Maddie became very brave this trip, venturing down a few water slides (not much, but a few times). We were proud of her! And Geoffrey was, clearly, able to do so much more, as the last time he was here, he was not walking yet. All four of us had a fantastic time!

| Here we are! |
| This kid could not get enough of the water! Even when his lips were purple and his body was shaking, he was running in for more. |
| Making the water spray! |
| Lunch time smiles! |
| With each passing hour, she became more of a water baby herself. As independent as she is, Maddie is super cautious and careful around water (which we are grateful for!), but we are excited that she is getting more brave with each experience. |
| I just love how proud of herself she looks here. She was so excited to show us that she had made it behind the waterfall. |
Another successful time at the water park! We stopped by the outlet mall on the way home (in search of a bridesmaid's dress for me), and enjoyed watching a couple of big firework shows from the comfort of our car, as we drove down the freeway. It was a great day!
