(August 3, 2013) - look at me, I'm almost caught up!!
As packing and preparing for our trip started to descend upon our house, we decided to desert the premises and take a trip to the Descanso Gardens. This is another local garden, located about 15 minutes away from us, in the town of La Canada. It was a pretty garden, although we didn't stay longer than an hour, so I know we did not see all of it. (Yes, I said an hour - although we were avoiding packing, there was still the nagging feeling that we should be home...packing..).
