Maddie Mae is 4!

We continued Maddie's birthday celebration throughout the day, although she probably would have been absolutely fine stopping after the Tinker Bell dress!  Brant worked at her preschool that day, which was special, and she was able to bring Popsicles for a birthday treat - truly, very exciting. :)

The previous day was when we went to Disneyland, and while we were there, we had Maddie pick out a new doll for her birthday.  She chose Rapunzel, but waited until her actual birthday to pull her out of the box.  On her birthday afternoon, before I returned from work, Brant pulled it out of the box for her.  She was in heaven, and so happy to have so many princess dollies to play with!

Turning 4 is hard work. :)

Once we were all home together, Maddie put her costume back on, and we proceeded with her birthday presents.

I decided to put my baking efforts into Maddie's birthday party a few days later, so for her actual birthday, I ran to the local grocery store to see what I could find.  What an amazing coincidence it was when I found this...

We sang, "Happy Birthday," and Geoffrey cheered when we were finished, right on cue.  We even did an encore performance just for his enjoyment. :)

And what would a party be without Maddie's two favorite guys?

Maddie ended her special day, playing with her new TAG world map.  Daddy was very excited to give this to her, and that night (plus countless more), they stayed up much past her bedtime to play together.  The map is so cool, and she is learning more about where we will be moving to, although she really has no clue how far it really is. :)

Happy 4th Birthday, Maddie Mae!!  You are such a delightful, spunky, charming and sweet little girl.  We love you more and more with every passing day.  Thank you for being such a blessing and light in our family.
