While in Oregon, we made a trip down to Eugene to visit my grandparents. Unfortunately, my Grammy was very ill at the time of our visit, and so we were not able to see her. We did stop for about 15 minutes to visit with Pop-pop, who gave us a wonderful map of Holland, complete with markings of significant landmarks for us to see, including historical family locations. We continue to be very blessed by Pop-pop and Grammy's wisdom, knowledge, love and support toward our upcoming adventure to Europe.
After our brief visit with Pop-pop, we went to my Grandma's house. We had a lovely visit with her, where we enjoyed a nice lunch out and our kids were in
the best public behavior we have ever witnessed. It was awesome!! When lunch was through, we went back to her house to visit some more. She pulled out her big barrel of toys (all of which were her daughters' toys, and all that I remember from my childhood as well)! Maddie and Geoffrey loved the new (old) toys!

| Yes, I really did put on the glasses. |
| Like mother, like daughter. :) |
| Grandma is telling Maddie all about the Mary Poppins doll she is holding. |
| What I love most about this picture, is Maddie's face in the bottom corner. She is mesmerized by what Grandma is talking to her about on the telephone. |
| Geoffrey's turn! |
| What else can we find in here? Seriously. A barrel, people. LOTS of toys can fit in a barrel. |
| Maddie's still on the phone, finishing up her important call. |
| Grandma Erna, with two of her great-grands, and me! |
